Open letter to NYUSC members and supporters

Newborough Yallourn United Soccer Club is embarking on a new and exciting future. With the help of GippSport and Vic Health we are in the process of building a strategic plan for the future, the plan will steer the club into a future of equality and equity for all members that are part of this great club.

The new Statement of Purpose will read:

The Newborough Yallourn United Soccer Club aims to provide an opportunity for everyone to participate in Football, regardless of their gender, sexuality, age, level of ability or racial and cultural background, and enhance their health and wellbeing. The club will endeavor to provide a safe and supportive environment to ensure all members and their partners and families can fully participate in and feel part of the club.

Female Friendly Facilities

In 2017 the club will continue with it's endeavors to acquire funding for Female Friendly Facilities, if successful, the club will see the construction of two new change rooms built adjacent to our existing rooms. Included in the new building will also be new Referee's rooms and a First aid room. We should know in about March of next year if the first grant application is successful.

2017 Senior Men's Coach

The NYUSC would like to announce the appointment of Clayton Bell as head Senior Coach for the 2017 season. The club would like to also acknowledge and thank Tim Armstead for all his hard work and success over the past 4 years.

2017 Senior Womens Coach

The NYUSC Committee is happy to announce the appointment of Warren Steen as their 2017 Senior Women's Coach. The women's team will start training on Tuesday the 31st of Jan 2017.
